Little Lambs Preschool

   

PURPOSE:	The purpose of Little Lambs Christian Pre-School is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children are encouraged to grow and learn. Our warm and caring staff will assist students in becoming more self-sufficient, and knowledgeable of their world around them. With the religious affiliation of our school, we would like to affirm that we shall stress God's love as revealed through Jesus Christ, yet we shall not make any attempt to prejudice a child against the faith of his/her parents.
STAFF:	Each member of the staff has been employed as a qualified and competent person to provide loving and understanding care for each child, according to his needs. The Pre-School Director or the Pastor of the church is available for counseling either with the child or the parent if requested.
CURRICULUM:	The Little Lambs Christian Pre-School program offers a carefully planned curriculum, both small and large group activities, and a “hands on” learning approach are among some of the key attributes of our program. Students will have the opportunity to participate in many educational games, Bible stories, puppet shows, songs, dances, poems, plays, stories, cooking, and scientific experiments. Creative media such as clay, play dough, paint, chalk, markers, crayons, cutting, glueing, will also be available. Manipulatives to enhance fine motor skills include puzzles, stringing beads, and lace cards. Activities to promote large motor skills include jump ropes, hoola hoops, balance beam, balls, parachute and the outside playground equipment.
LICENSE:	Little Lambs Christian Pre-School has been licensed since September, 1978 by the State of Michigan.
CLASS OPTIONS:	Monday & Wednesday AM 9:30 - 11:45 3 yr old class Monday & Wednesday PM 12:45 - 3:00 3 & 4 yr old (split class) Tuesday & Thursday AM 9:30 - 11:45 4 & 5yr old class Tuesday & Thursday PM 12:45 - 3:00 4 & 5yr old class Optional Fri. Morning 9:30 - 11:45 4 & 5yr old class We will operate during the school year with holidays and vacations the same as the Northwest Public Schools. Opening day will be Monday, September 14th 2009. A registration fee of $ 20.00 is required at the time of enrollment with your white enrollment form. IT IS NOT REFUNDABLE AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED THAT YOUR CHILD IS ACCEPTED.

REGISTRATION:	Open House/Registration. Parents & children are invited to meet our staff, enjoy activities & refreshments. Any questions will be answered at that time, attendance is optional.
COST:	The tuition is per month in advance: $60.00 for 2 days and $75.00 for 3 days per week. Payments should be made by check to Little Lambs Pre-School on or before the 1st of each month with September due by the first day of school. After a child is accepted, expenses continue whether the child is present or absent. Any child whose parents are more than two (2) months in arrears will be dropped from enrollment at the start of the third month.
ENROLLMENT:	It is VERY IMPORTANT that we have correct telephone numbers, in case of emergencies, on the enrollment form. If, after enrollment, there are any changes please notify us AT ONCE. Children will be accepted without preference to race or religion.
