Adult Bible Fellowship

Adult Bible Fellowships, or ABF’s as we call them,  are an elective-based opportunity to grow spiritually by actively engaging in prayer and studying the Bible with one another. ABF’s meet every Sunday morning from 9:30a to 10:30a before the service. This is a great first step for those who are new at Bethel to connect.

Ladies’ Bible Study (Starts again April 2018)

The purpose of the Ladies’ Bible Study is for women to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The women learn from the Word and from each other, and as a result, their lives are changed. It is the highlight of the week for many of the women who regularly attend. Each meeting begins with coffee and tea, singing and prayer. (Every once in a while there is a special treat to go with the coffee or tea.) Each lesson includes both teaching and discussion, and the time ends with intercession for the personal requests of the women present. The Ladies’ Bible Study meets from 9:55-11 a.m., Tuesdays, in the Fireside Room, located on the Main Level in the West Wing of the church building. The study typically begins meeting sometime in September and runs through the end of May or early June, with time off during the Christmas season. This study is open to women who attend Bethel and friends of those who attend Bethel.

Women’s Prayer

Women’s Prayer group is a place for women to gather to encourage one another and lift their hearts to the Lord in prayer. We meet every Wednesday from 10a-11a at Bethel in the Fireside room, located on Main Level in the West Wing.

Mom2Mom offers encouragement and fellowship for moms of young children. We meet from 9:15a-11:15a Thursdays during the school year in the Fireside Room, located on the Main Level of the church in the West Wing. The group engages in Bible study, service projects, brunches, crafts, and meal preparation. The cost to attend is $1. Babysitting is provided at an addition $1 per child. At times there are activities that require an extra charge, but there will always be an announcement ahead of time for that.
Those who participate in Mom2Mom will:
Lift one another up in prayer
Encourage each other to be the best wives and mothers they can possibly be
Realize they can’t mother in their own strength
Hold each other accountable to parent in the strength of our Heavenly Father
To that end, participants commit to:
Recognize needs around us and seek to meet them
Be honest and ask for help when needed
Only speak words that are uplifting
Group members will not:
Speak negatively about their husbands
Gossip about one another, or engage in gossip of any kind
Talk about or encourage one another in any ways that oppose the truth of Scripture
